New wood heating center for the Aadorf Nord heating network

On behalf of EKT, we developed and implemented an advanced control system for a modern wood heating center.

A modern wood-fired heating plant was built for the new Aadorf North heating network, which will initially supply the surrounding properties with heat. This system will later be connected to the existing heating network in Aadorf in order to achieve greater network coverage and efficiency. The new heating center was built to replace the oil and gas heating systems and uses renewable energy sources, which contributes to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.

Rey Technology was allowed to provide the control technology for this project. The entire control center is now controlled and monitored by a modern control system, which allows the plant to be operated and monitored centrally.

The control system used enables the graphical visualization of operating states, immediate alarms in the event of faults, remote maintenance and remote control, as well as the export of operating data and the provision of information about the heat consumers. The system used is tried and tested and is state of the art, ensuring a high level of reliability and efficiency.

The timely commissioning of the system was made possible by detailed planning of all trades and interfaces. Thanks to this careful planning, the new heating system was commissioned successfully and on time.

The new wood-fired central heating system lays the foundation for the future. It meets current and future requirements in terms of efficiency and sustainability.
